Hey All... The CN Tower is completely grounded and gets hit by lightning an average of 75 times a year. You can read uP on this and more at their website: http://www.cntower.ca/portal/S... storm took place on Aug 21, 2003. You can check out the radar tracking of it here: http://www.ontariostorms.com/2... took this video as the storm moved through downtown Toronto. The CN Tower was struck numerous times, as we're other buildings downtown. It was an incredible sight :)

i love toronto. I've always compared Toronto to other cities I travel to and the thing I like most about Toronto is that I always feel safe, even when I walk through some of the poorest areas of Toronto, you can't get that at any big American cities.
