Reassuring to read that such people still exist. Used to attend all school dances & loved it. It was safe, some parents would chaperone the door to reject older drinking students or "City Folks" as we called them in the Country. Respecting women when you lived in a closed community was a big thing since we attended same school as their siblings, we all knew each other & the "Line of Socially Acceptable Behavior (LOSAB) was well defined. Our greatest fear, breaking the heart of a wonderful girl!

Amen to u both. Whatever became of romance. Now most people equate romance with sex. A romantic kiss, the touch of a hand, a smile.

Yes, it's a different world. With few exceptions, it seems technology has replaced ability, outrageousness and controversy have replaced talent, overt sex has replaced romance, and excess has replaced taste... more's the pity.I suppose that, sooner or later, we all become dinosaurs. It's too bad that most young folk don't know what they missed...but, maybe that's what my grandfather thought when he first saw my grandmother's ankle.

This clip brings back so many memories of my innocent days, America was (almost) pure. You won your Sweetheart by politeness & by impressing her family with gentleman qualities & dedication. You had to be able to dance, show good manners, protect and provide for her. I do not know how the young generation does it nowadays. I miss these days... Thank you for such a nice music video, Lancelot.
