A "fat" and "thin" shot are the same error. The apex (lowest part) of the swing is behind the ball in both shots. With a "thin" shot, the only difference is there is no divot taken. Coming down 'on top' of the ball is not a thin shot, and not many people can do that with a normal setup. You would have to have more lag than Garcia/Hogan to do that. Reference "The Physics of Golf."

I'm a 10 handicapper and whenever my swing goes south, I watch your video to get back in sync. This is a good instruction to hit the ball crisp like you see pros doing on the range. Thank you.
