You are correct in a way. Good Ears! For the tone to be totally accurate for the A natural, he needed to bring the pitch up a bit from standard second position and he overshot it a little, so he is actually sharp! Fancy that. Also, it is very tough to tune that chord because there are three very close tones at the same moment, these being a G in the tuba, an A natural in the trombone, and a B flat in the horn. That sure didn't help the matter any either.

Whoops, have to correct myself. It's a minor chord there, so it's the ninth...(I'm just arranging it for four players.)

It's the major 7 there repeatedly being played. Not wrong, unusal/interesting, though.
