the mg42 wasnt a common infantry weapon u can exclude it from this video and it would still be perfect add mp32 and lose the flak 88 as it was not a common weapon on the battlefield either and a 88 is not a infantry weapon lol

It just shows how advance and prepared these Germans were, but what put these German's away in the dustbin was courage, will and freedom! it doesnt matter how powerful you are, you will cripple if you are wrong. Anyway very interesting stuff!

The SS fought everywhere during WW2 except in North Africa. However, the SS in France who fought against the western allies were usually drafted from Eastern Europe and France. It was more of a German foreign legion by the end of the war than crack german outfits.

except that the SS didnt fight in Stalingrad. Only the Wehrmacht. The germans only used the ppsh 41 because it was better in close/urban combat than the Kar98k.German weapons were better.

Firing 3800 yards is definitely possible. However, you can't think of it as the gunner shooting at a visible target. The guy beside him, his loader, had binoculars with which he could see where the bullets hit. He could then adjust the gunners fire by screwing on the bars holding the gun in place. The mg34 and 42 were used as support weapons for the advancing troops meaning it wasn't necessarily meant to kill the enemy just get the enemy to not want to stick his head up.
