By the way, if you wet the bat, the clay will be thrown off. The bat must be dry.

Actually, you must wet the bad. that creates a suction to the clay. otherwise the clay will not stick or stay centered.

You make it look a lot easier than it actually is! I just started pottery throwing today, and had a hard time raising it to a cylinder. I guess I have to practice. ;) |
