flipping heck, climbers can go on for years about grades! :)French grades account for the overall physical difficulty to climb from the ground to the top, not taking danger into account. These are used for bolted sport climbs, and are often prefixed with the letter "F-"British tech grades give a number describing the difficuly of the hardest move or section of the climb, whereas trad grades range from mod to E12, which factor in the difficuly of the climb, and the danger in one grade.

not necessarily, british grades only account for the single hardest move, its nothing to to with the overall difficulty of the climb :)
